    Hi,

I am the lucky owner of a 1973 cj5 :v6: that I'm trying to put back onto the road.

At this moment I have trouble to get the hazard working.
I bought a new 4 way switch (see attached pic) but the electric schem I got from haynes is not really detailled in this area. after several trials they are still not working...

Could somebody help me  to indicate how to connect this switch with the original color harness

    many thanks

    ED

    Welcome from Boston, Ed!

The Haynes and Chiltons manuals can be helpful, but many times not. You really need the factory service manual for this vehicle. They are available as reprints here http://thejeep.com/shop/HOT+SELLERS....html?osCsid=5148dadbbc87f7dcead66d2984cc181e and several other places on the web. Somtimes they come up on eBay.

There is a '72 FSM here http://trailforge.com/cms/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=24&Itemid=30 and also at http://www.c104.net/manual - the '72 is pretty close to the '73, so it may be enough. Look in section 22.

    hth!
