Can anyone tell me where I can find an complete air cleaner assembly for my 225 V6? Currently I have a oil bath and I want to switch to a paper element. I tried the local auto parts but they were no help.

    Thanks in advance

Try the classified ad section here, you can post wanted to buy ads.

Why change? The oil bath filters better, not like a Jeep is a race car where better flow equals faster 1/4 mile times. Filtering out all the dust on the trail could be a good thing. ;)

Oh, I also don't know why you can't get an aftermarket one.

That's mine, but I've an oil bath I'm putting on it once I get a spacer so the choke linkage clears and doesn't bind up.

They have plastic adaptor at any decent parts store.
You can use any 4bl filter thats fit under the hood with the adaptor.

Im putting a harley filter on mine. It came off my Dads harley, just for fun.

any boneyard with a V8 mid 70s Chevy with a Rochester would be a candidate as well. A spacer may be needed to clear the choke linkage if you plan on using the choke.
