1966 CJ6A - First steps

    I guess I should list the specs of the changes.
    The lift is the 2" suspension special from National Tire and Wheel (Actually a 2.5" Superlift)
    I used OMIX-ADA heavy duty shackles for as little lift there as possible.
    The tires are 31*10.5-15 Yokohama MTs on 15*8 alloy wheels.

    OK, I guess this is Second Steps.

    After a hiatus from the project from October 07 to July 08 that included the deaths of my Dad and Grandpa, I started work on the '6A again.

    I installed Herm's master cylinder, and then took the easy way out.... I dropped it off at a mechanic friend of mine's shop yesterday. I decided he could install new custom SS brake lines easier than I could (I would have to borrow several tools anyway, and he has a lift and experience. He will also install a new fuel line and the correct t-case cross member that I purchased in a box o parts. It should be driveable but in need of seatbelts and rewiring taillights when it comes back! I'm getting a case of the jeep thing again!
