D18 Clutch Shaft Pilot Bushing

    I had a transmission shop press in a new clutch shaft bushing on the model 18transfer case that I am rebuilding. Does anyone know how far into the main shaft it is supposed to be pressed? The shop pressed it just below the surface. Will that be ok or should it be pressed in further?

    That should be ok, I think the factory pressed them about 1/8" below though.
