Eeyore now has a dual master cylinder and it only took five months. I got started and then it got cold here in Wyoming. My gurage is not heated, something I have got to change.
After trying to put on three rebuilt cylinders, each with a problem I ordered a new one. It was easy to bench bleed and I had plenty of experience installing and hooking up the cylinder. Now the brakes work like they should.

The rebuilt cylinders were a waste of time.

Hah! Got mine on in one day! But then the tub was off, it was warm and dry enough, so I shouldn't have had any excuses. R) It took me a tad longer to build up all the lines though:oops:

I was not well motovated. I had plenty of excuses. Having the tub off would really make things easier to get at. Would not have dropped the grinder on my arm and chest. I did have my safety glasses on and leather gloves. That sucker was sure hard to hold on to.

Gota love this old iron. It sure is fun to drive with the windshield down on a warm day.
