Would stock shackles limit wheel travel with a 2.5" lift?

    Ok, after parking the Jeep on Stumps and rocks the front axle more so than the rear only travels so far and stops.... It is not on the bump stops but I do notice the shackles are at a near 40 degree angle. I was wondering if going with a longer shackle would do two things, give a bit of lift and help with the travel. I was thinking of a 1 inch longer than stock for a 1/2" lift. Any ideas???

    I know I should have taken a picture.... When I was out last I forgot to put the CF card back in the camera.......:oops:

    Stock length shackles 4.5" lift springs.

    Do you have the sway bar connected? This was the limiting factor for mine. Once disconnected, it made a world of difference.
