Where would I find those little lock plates that go on the bolts that attach the locking hub to the wheel hub? Does anyone even use them anymore or do all the cool kids just use locktite now?

    Thanks,
    Chilly

I've used lockwashers with success. But the really cool kids locktite studs in place, and use nuts with lockwashers, or locknuts.

Dayum! Those are cool kids, what with their studs and all. I think I'm only cool enough for bolts with locktite.

A real hardware store has the tabbed washers, as well as anybody doing marine or gas turbine parts.

I was at HERM'S today and got some gaskets for warn hubs. he mentioned that he has the locking tabs .nice if you want to stay O.E.myself, i bought stainless steel allen bolts with "high coller lock washers" (stainless steel of course) yes you can order them from a good supplier.polished the bolts on the Harbor Frieght buffer.Great to meet Herm. got all the stuff i needed and will order more later.
