Leaking Water Pump Bolt

    Hi All: Long story short: Bolt cracked, took off water pump, drilled out snapped off bolt, drilled out bolt, retapped hole, put back together, tiny leak from the bolt. (slight drip) Any suggestions for a remedy or a sealant that will stop the leak? Peace!

    jpflat2a what's that noise?

    If it's leaking thru the threads. I'd use Permatex Hi Tack
    it's liquid and brushes on
    I suppose any non hardening sealer would work as well
    my 0.2 worth

    Currently waiting a day or so for the Permatex to set up well. Very cool here in Delaware and I want to be sure it sets up well before I put coolant back in the rad. and fire "Walt" up. I'll keep you posted.
