I currently debating installing a twin-stick on my Dana 20. The PO "Lincoln Locked" my Dana 30....and until I upgrade to a D44 I was thinking of going Twin-Stick so I can disengage my front axle as needed. 1) Operation - As I am trailing along if I decide I want to disengage the front axle do I simply pull the lever to diengage the front? Can I do this under power, or must I push the clutch in? Does this seem to be a temporary solution? (I do have and ARB in back) 2) Could someone confirm the "ease" of instalation? I am not worried about the interlock pills-I don't need front only. Thanks

Mine the two axles engage/disengage separately, that was the advantage. The original linkage made it hard to shift the transfer case. I kept the pills- 1, easier install and 2- no blonde moments.
jb fabrications is where this came from.

I have twin-sticked mine. Its almost impossible to disengage the axle under load. I normally have to disengage the rear then the front comes out easily. I can very rarely get the front out without taking the rear out first.
