Fiberglass tubs

For what it's worth, ya ought to see a snowmobile after they burn. Very typically there are zero recognisable parts. Even the motors are just a melted blob. The rest of it just plain burns up around it. Even the aluminum shell. On the trail many times all that will be seen is a black spot. Maybe a pipe or something. Maybe...

I have had good luck with my tub so far. Mine is a 4wd hardware tub. There is a tag up under the cowl as I recall. I will add that tag to the list of things to take a pic of.

 

Everything burns, if you have a good fire it really wont matter if you have a glass or metal body. We've had a couple of 18 wheeler fires out on the Interstate where the aluminum wheels burnt off and it melted into the highway 6"-8"! Fiberglass does put off some nasty smoke though
