'57 Carter YF rebuild kit

    I remember people saying that you shouldn't order the generic carb rebuild kits for the Carter YFs due to problems with them not containing the correct parts.

    What I want to know is it a good idea to order the master rebuild kit off of Krage's? It seems like a good kit.

    I guess you just have to weigh reliability & performance vs. cost. IMO, it's worth a few more bucks for the feeling that my carb won't let me down. I'm going to be taking mine places where I won't want to break down! Like coming down Black Bear Pass, for example.
