guys - this is way easier to save than what I started with - but only if you get it for the price I did - nothing and have several jeeps to donate parts to the cause and if you are needing something to pass the time - not a quick fix

It may have been a slow and miserable demise but I'm sure she lived honorably. Even in death she has a sense of beauty. I think I see an organ donor card under the driver's seat.

No such thing as an un-repairable CJ!!!
Look. Probably has a good frame, good axles, lots of useful parts. Take a poll here and see how many people have replaced their motor and the body since owning their jeep. I know I have done it! The '42 MB in my avatar I basically built from spare parts! It came out awesome! My trail rig has had virtually everything changed and then redesigned. Now it is better than ever! Even a bad frame can be repaired. That jeep can be resurrected! I believe it just collapsed from the embarrasment of the bumper and roll bar!!

I gotta agree with CJ X here. With any luck you might find a solid frame, good boxes, steering, and working axles . This is a great place to start. Patience may net you an old CJ with a rotted frame or blown axles down the road for next to nothing. As long as you have time and space is on your side.

I'm from new have county . I work in new haven county ( actually 2 miles out side of it ) .

Now About the parts , yes i was some parts on this jeep that got a lot of $ on ebay , and one one them i saw was in worse shape then the one on this jeep.

Now geting it out will be kind of a problem , cause i would need to pull it back up the hill and down the hill , cause the sortest way has three 5' deep diches for the drainage of water . they look like this dig the jeep is in but they are steper and rocks from a qwary are as a liner . Toght to walk acros it .

I will see if my bro with his 88 Cherokie 4.0 will help .

Now some of you guys live in ct . what do i need to do at the dmv ? cause i don't want to fix and then find out that it was stolen .

Chances are it may be stolen. if you know somebody in law enforcement you can probalby run the VIN if there is one. But You will probably have a difficult time getting it legal. Probably best to use it for parts and buy a differnt jeep with a legit title that you know you wont have problems with. Sometimes Free isnt good.

CT is easy to register an antique jeep. You just bring in a bill of sale.

get it, after thinking about it, I started with one that on the surface looked "ok", but was pretty farked up. Mine had a a broken frame, smashed transmission and t case and bad floor boards as well as plenty of cracks in the tub and fenders. A plus was that it was low mileage two owner and running. if that one has a good frame and axles, you can do most anything, if you have the time & $$. a good start or donor vehicle for sure, most folk end up using two or more ECJ5s to make one.....it seems like

two words for a legal title: Broadway Title. Google it, they offer real transferable titles, works especially well on older vehicles.
