Stupid oil change question

When changing oil on a F-134, what has been found to be the best way to remove the old oil from the oil filter canister? always a pain

 

The cleanest way I found is to use a oil suction gun to get the oil out and a rag to wipe out the little bit of sluge that always seems to be on the bottom.

 

Mine Has a drain valve on the bottom ....

 

I used my wifes turkey baster :twisted:

 

Yup, I bought her a new one as well.

You could just get a piece of plastic tubing and use it like a straw! (half joking) Just stop sucking before the oil gets to your mouth!
