I am in the process of installing the new pro comp ES300 shocks. They have around 10 inches of travel. When the shocks are mocked up on the bare chassis the front is 5 inches extended, or roughly half. The back on the other hand is nearly completely extended. I have a feeling that I am going to run into a problem with all the weight finally in. The front is going to compress even more and show less than 5 inches, which is not good while the rear will be less but I am not thinking enough less. Has anyone ran into a problem such as this or has any suggestions. Thanks in advance.

The best thing to do is wait untill your jeep has the motor and body on it, and also the tires and springs you plan on running. Then take a forklift and start picking your jeep up from under the tires. You can then see how much compression and extension the shock absorber is going to need. And it is kind've fun.
