The exhaust pipe from the (stock) manifold to the muffler needs to be replaced on my '75 CJ-5. My local supply places do not have it listed! They say it's NA !!! Too old!! Has any one had one custom made from stainless??

    Shocking!!!

Typical, esp. for the 72-75 Jeeps.

I had a complete exhaust system installed on my truck. The shop can bend up any shape you need. If you want it to be removable, tell them not to weld it in - typically they'll weld all the joints from top to bottom.

If it's a good Walker number, the Walker catalog is online. Any parts store can get Walker parts.

I'd guess either the catalog is wrong, or there's a minor difference in the hangers on the '75. As you probably know, there were only minor changes in the CJs from '72-75. Big changes in '76, so if it will fit a '74 and a '76 ...

Could be the muffler for '75 is a different length - what about the muffler numbers? There's no way (AFAIK) a complete exhaust system from a '74 wouldn't fit a '75, except for maybe hanger locations.

If your FLAPS can order it, they can send it back if its a stocking number. If the "F" is earned, they should get one for a good customer.

I just installed that pipe, which has been on my 73, onto the 83 intake/exhaust manifold that I just installed. It fit perfectly.
