    Hey y'all,

I've finally made up my mind and want to put the Pertronix ignition on my '57s F134. I found a kit in Quadratec that is made by Pertronix called the Ignitor. Is this what I should go with? They recommend using their FlameThrower ignition coil as well. The whole kit, along with the FlameThrower coil is only about $80, so I was thinking it'd be a good idea to go ahead and get rid of those nasty ol' points.

What's everyone's opinion on this kit? Is it the "Pertronix" upgrade that everyone is always raving about?

On Quadratec's website they have one for 60-71 CJs with the F134. Is this because they're 12v? I was thinking I need to go with this kit, since I just did the 12v 1-wire alternator conversion. Here's a link to the page on Quadratec's website: http://www.quadratec.com/products/17612_003.htm

    Thanks in advance,
    Evan

Alright. I'm sold. Just about everyone I've heard says the same thing.
