What happens if I block off the small tube comming from the fuel pump that returns unused fuel back to the gas tank? My new tank didnt have a nipple to connect the hose to, so I just plugged the line at the pump, is that bad?

Mine had the return line plugged into the supply line with a tee fitting. Seemed to run fine that way. The tee was midway between the tank and the pump.

I did have vapor lock problems. Also being a CJ2A it only had a 1/4 inch line coming out the bottom for a feed line. Here's how I solved it Added a 5/16 pick up and a 1/4 inch return to the sender and used JB Weld to hold them in.
