Was making a few minor adjustments on my mixture and idle adjustment screws and somehow managed to get the whole thing out of whack. It's a solex on a stock F-134. My question is: what's the best procedure for getting the correct settings, and could my messing with it have fouled my plugs or burned my points? Just can't seem to get it straightened out. It's ok at idle, but hesitates badly when driving. Thanks for any help.

No, wasn't much help. Just trying to find a starting point. Someone told me to begin by turning the mixture out two rounds before starting, wait til it warms up then begin turning it out further until the engine smooths out. Tried it to no avail. Still runs crappy. That's why I was wondering if I had fouled the plugs or burned points. very aggravating,

If anything the plugs would be fouled, points shouldn't be affected.

It needs to be tuned when it's fully warmed up, I know that from experience.
