In about 2 weeks my F134 will be finished with a rebuild and ready to re-install. I also have freshly rebuilt my T-90 and Dana 18, I will be installing a completely new clutch and throw out bearing. So my question is... Is it possible to assemble the entire engine clutch, bell housing, transmission and transfer case as one unit and slide it in from the front of my Jeep (Grill, radiator off)?
Or should I install the transmission and transfer case first then the engine, or the other way around?:?

Next question. I had some overheating ( running hot not boiling over) issues with my engine before it broke a crankshaft. I was thinking about putting an electric fan instead of using the fan on the engine. What do you think, and if so, should it be a pusher fan or puller fan or does it matter?:?

I need also to install a heater. Thinking about the Mojave heater... anyone disagree with that choice?

    Thanks

Yes you can install the whole thing as a unit. With the stock fan you shouldn't have any overheating trouble. If you do have trouble something else is wrong.

Zim - Cherry picker on the engine with a nice floor jack under the Tcase makes it easy to snake it in. Stay with the stock fan - look to put a shroud on to help with the air flow.

You may want to flush the radiator, and otherwise make sure you have as much current flow through the cooling system as possible. And maybe check the thermostat to see if it is maybe getting ready to quit on you.:coffee:
