    just thought i would share some part numbers with you all for the dana 25 front axel inner axel seal the ones that drive in from the inside of the diff are federal mogul #40576s <2 required> pinnion seal is national part #5778 pinnion races are timken #02820 and timken31520, 02820 is the outter and 31520 is the inner,this might be a good idea for a page i dont know i had a little trouble crossing the numbers from the old seals but do know some realy old school parts men that a:) rnt afraid to dig thru the booksR)

    aint that the truth...

    i'd rather take a my parts needs to a greasy dirty dimly lit smelly old parts shop with a grizzly geezer behind the counter than to an autozone.

    Most times with the latter you can't find what you want unless you can tell them what year/make/model/transmission/air conditioning the vehicle is...

    With the former you can walk in and say "I need pinion races and bearings for an ole Dana 25" and he just gets them off the shelf... :)

    And you'd have to tell him all that info from the vehicle that your axles came out of, not the vehicle you're driving. We swap parts like crazy and our axles/transmissions/motors/t-cases/bodies don't match the rest of the jeep.

    Exactly my point... and if you have a rear axle out of a late model bronco or some such, what the heck does it matter if the donor vehicle had air conditioning?! R)
