After reading many threads on the subject, I got a "mojave" aftermarket heater and installed it last weekend. The install went smoothly and I'm very happy with the heater, but......

I removed the factory heater for the installation. So now there is nothing downstream of the fresh air box. The drain is still in place and the door is closed, but I still get a lot of water in the passenger floorboard when it rains. I'm planning on just applying liberal amounts of silicon around the door and drain, but wanted to know if anyone had a more creative or elegant solution to this problem?

    Thanks,

    Jon

I just cut all that crap out and made a stainless plate to block off the small grille on the cowl and silicones it in.
