Are there any glaring differences between a 2A and a 3A frame? The rear section of my 3A is awfully thin and may not be worth building, however I have a line on a decent 2A frame locally. Will my 3A tub mount up on the 2A frame?

Bodies will swap no problem but the frames are different. Shouldn't be a problem unless you are trying to stay concours origional.

The differences in the frame will be the front frame horns and the engine mounts. The frame horns are no big deal but if you use the 3a L head the front engine plate and fuel pump may need to be changed (OR, just modify the frame mount)

Thanks for the help. I'm not wondering if my frame isn't salvageable. Everything up to the crossmember that goes over the rear axle is solid. However, the two rearmost crossmember will have to be replaced as it is rusted through where it meets the frame itself. Would it be stupid to replace the crossmembers on a frame that is a little thin at the rear?
