i just installed a lockright locker in my friends 53 cj3a and when trying to do the test, push one wheel forward to lock then reverse the other wheel and it should click, well it doesn't, it is locked the the other side. im pretty sure i installed it right but mine will click when i reverse rotation on the opposite wheel. these seem to be locked together. also when i go around turns it doesn't break free. what am i missing.

Sounds like there isn't enough clearnace inside the carrier for the cogs (technical term) to disengage. Are you sure it is the correct application, and did you have any problems in getting it all put back together?

im sure its for my dana 44/10 spline. what i did find out was that i left out the thrust washers. well i installed them and my clearance is 160 thousands. haven't gotten to put the wheels back on yet but just by turning the hubs seems like the same problem.

what has me confused are the spacers. the ones in my kit have half moon indentations in them like the drivers. i figured they lined up so the pin can clear.
