Gonna enlarge it to keep the stockish look to it. Basically jsut gonna cut a little then flex it, cut some more flex it, so it will be cut only as much as it needs to be. Thats funny on the bushing, Whoda thunk you had to take the old one out :D

Can you fit a radiator in there or will it be moutned in the rear? I know i used a griffin aluminum radiator from summit. it was cheap and i had to make monuts to the frame,. but it is worth it. you could probably get a wide skinny one to slip in :) Lookin Good!!! Hey every ask about that yota axle? I'll trade a twin sticked dana 20 for it )

I should be able to fit in under the hood..at least thats the plan right now, the front Xmemeber is going to get cut out so I'll hopefully be able to slip it in there behind the grill, and run a couple elec. fans to move some air. The guy I needed to ask about the axle didnt come around today, but he should one day this week. When I see him, I'll ask and see what he wants for it.

dual electric fans real good for me. just remember to run relays for them... they like to eat switches really quick. and keep a thermostat in the motor or it wont heat up properly, the fans keep it really cool :)

No prob with the axle. No that much for funds right now. i can trade the dana 20 and a compelte s10 break setup with power booster and MC. :) he probably cant use them, but worth a try :)

sheesh. Just found this thread. Looks good Jason8)

Its definatly nice being able to work on a lift like that. I took the 68 in last summer and it was a pain trying to get it on the lift and it did look really small once you got it up there.

Doubt goldmember looks small on the lift now:D

Got some motor mounts made tonight...might go back later on and add a piece of tube to help support the very bottom of the bracket, but it seems to be very strong right now.. [IMG] [IMG]

hey on the brakes, wanna run hydroboost? got a setup for the 3b, but you know how fast thats coming.

anyway, keep on keepin on. that is all. bye bye.

Didnt work on it much this weekend, was busy helping another guy with his 'yota

But did grab a pic of the wheel turned all the way...should have decent turning radius. Also sold the spool I was going to run in the front, since I decided to switch to a Lockrite, so I'll still be able to turn

Sweet!!! I am running the same spring paltes. if you havnt decided on the front shock setup. i made tabs on top of the spring spring palte and bolted the bottom of the shock to it and then ran a hoop up, it is up out of the way and works great

Thats a good idea..once the shocks get here, I'll look into doing it that way. I had just planned on welding the shock tabs to the housinig inbetween the spring pad and the knuckle and then doing a hoop up into the fender well for the top mount.

that would have been my second way of doing it. i had to do it like this just because i had the hoops done before i installed the waggie axles. I have to look at it, i thoguht bout doing it like that between the knuckle and spring pack but the hoop would have to be angled out toward the wheel to be up and down if i remembered. It has been a bit ;)

yeah the hoops Im plannin on making are going to angle out some. Trail gear has some nice ones that are fairly cheap that Im thinking about getting, Im jsut not sure yet if they will clear the bottom of the fender. If not I'll just make a couple myself...shouldnt be too hard to do :)

Started building the cross member tonight.. Gonna plate it up with some 1/4" plate and add a bar or two from front to back...It will bolt through the side to the frame rails with 4-5 bolts/side. The mount for the tranny/tcase will be bolted though the bottom with some flush mount allen head bolts..The front bar drops under the yoke on the front of the tcase, and then curves around and goes through the gap between the bottom of the tranny and the bellhousing then up to the frame rail. The rear bar drops down just a little past even with the bottom of the tcase in the rear then slopes up to the other frame rail.
