My clutch seems to be grabbing and releasing fine. I noticed though, that with my foot off the clutch, I can grab the pedal with my hand and pull it up another 1 to 2 inches. The pedal does not return this extra 1 to 2 inches on its own. After I pull it up, it sits level with the brake pedal. I've tried adjusting it out with no success. I would thing this is common, is this a problem? Something worn?

Do you have a return spring? Hooks to pedal and to firewall on the interior side.

It does have a spring but it dosn't return it all the way. I'm going to try to hack in a second spring to give it that little extra. I got some universal springs and some thick ones from brake jobs too. I'm wondering if its the bushings in the bellcrank. they were being negleted. Its just been so cold here to pull stuff like that apart. And its a chore to drive my other jeep out of the garage right now.
