Can you actually get a tire on a rim with a tire iron or crow bar and a lot of cursing and wd40?

I did my 33x12.5x15. And you don't need WD40. Place rim on the ground. Then put the tire onto the rim. Push tire down into rim. Should slide right in. Now it gets harder. Use the tire irons and work the tire onto the rim. Have someone stand on the tire to help hold it from comming back off. When you get half way around. Have that person push the tire below the lip in the middle of the rim and finish the mount. Easy? right?
I hear it harder with the smaller tires.

Tire irons are easier than crow bar, but its very doable. I used to use a large tire dealer (Atlanta Commercial Tire)that did them all that way. Those guys would really work up a sweat when you brought in your dump truck.

My brother and I did a 32x9.50 TSL like that a couple of weeks ago. No WD40. A little dish soap to make it slimy.

Yes it can be done ! You will two tire iron and a large hammer. The most inportion is you start from the side of rim that has short lip, one has almost no bevel so tire won't pop in easy. start the tire with iron hold that one so tire doesn't pop out and other one ply a little bit tire then more and then hit with the hammer until pop in . Be careful not hit the rim with hammer or tear the tire.
