Are the D25 and D44 from a 61 CJ3b the same spring perch width and angle as a CJ5? Found a set close to home for spares. Thanks

The only thing that would be of any benefit to you would be the axle shafts themselves, since you already have 11" brakes. So if it were me I'd pull the axles, possibly both front/rear R&P with the carriers if they are the same ratio as what you already have, and sell or give away the housings...

The pinion bearings in my front have alot of play so this would be something to drive on while I,m busy messing up mine. I'd just change the backing plates while repacking the bearings.

This is overall axle width measurements - wheel mount to wheel mount - in inches.
I believe that the spring perches are identical on all early CJ's.

 Didnt think about that. AFAIK the perch angles are the same, if not they cant be off toooo much that a shim couldnt fix. The width from perch to perch is the same since the frame width didnt change.
