I put a Saginaw Power Steering box on Baba Looey. I think it turns to fare. The wheels hit the stops before the steering box stops turning. Do you think I could put a shorter pitmen arm on there to solve this problem?:?

    Re: Pitmen arm

Is it necessarily a problem? Sounds like a symptom of the D25 axle, not the steering box. Might want to just keep it the way it is in case you swap out to the D30 someday.

I could always put the old arm back on.

I would sugest you install a suport arm from the bottom of the steering box to the other side of the frame. that is if you dont have on all ready. you can make a neet one with a rod off a 350 a welder and a copple chuncks of steel.
