    Hey everyone,

I've just started rebuilding an old L-head to put in my 2A and I've got it pretty much all stripped down.

The problem I'm having is trying to figure out how to remove the valves and valve springs. I have the old-fashioned lever-type valve spring compressor, but when I compress the springs I can't seem to find the keepers to knock out. She ain't like an inline amc motor, that's for sure!

There in there...Not sure what else to tell ya... IIRC they are on the bottom side of the springs. Just compress the springs up and knock 'em out with a screwdriver.
