    I have a 73 cj5 with a dana 44 in the rear what is the best way to tell what type of axles I have ?

    if it's still factory stock
    flanged axles (1 piece) 30 spline

    There are pics in the tech section to tell the difference between a flanged and tapered axle. The ends of a tapered axle have a dust cap while the flanged have a dished out section.
