water pump

    well i brought my new water pump and fuel pump home today, the fuel pump wasn't to bad to install but the water pump seems to have the pulley pressed on. is this a job for a shop to do, pull off the pulley and install it on the new pump or is there a safe way of doing it at home.

    i found that out after checking different sites. well i figured i had nothing to loose so i was able to pull the old pulley and press it onto the new water pump. have to say that the more work i do on this old flat head the more respect i have for the guys who have been working on them. there not as easy as i thought it would be.
