Does anyone know where I can get one for my T98, 225 V6 combo?
My local trans and clutch place doesn't have anything much smaller than an inch on the input shaft.

    Here is what I need
    10" disc, 11/16 10 spline.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

IIRC, mine was 15/16" and 10 spline. I got mine from a clutch disc warehouse that dealt with industrial equipment. My T-98 came out of a 66 CJ5 with a F-head in it. My numbers may be wrong though as its been since '01 since I played with it.

What did that come out of? That seems like a pretty small diameter to me.

I was useing it in a T98, 225 combo. The T98 was a 4 cyl only option so im guessing that explains the small shaft dia.

I would think you could make that 10.5" work. I think that's the standard Ford size that is used in the T-18 swaps, right?

Looking at my old pressure plate I dont think that I can swing a 10.5" disc. The 10" disc pretty much fills it out.

Did a quick check at Summit and RAM AUTOMOTIVE shows your disk size etc as a complete kit for a Mustang. Did you contact Summit ? EDIT: Looked at the Ram site. Looks like 69-73 250ci Mustang disk. Or not.

I think you may need the 1 1/16" clutch disc according to jeeptech.com: http://www.jeeptech.com/trans/t18.html

Here is a quote from the T98 portion:

    "The T-98 has a 1 1/16" 10 spline input shaft and 1 3/8" 6 spline output."

But then I see this article at the jeeptech site contradicts that and says the t98 has a 15/16" input shaft: http://www.jeeptech.com/oliver/Modifications/Transmission3.htm

This site also says 15/16": http://www.offroaders.com/tech/jeep/Jeep-Transmission_Guide.htm

    So, which is right?

You may just need to get a caliper and measure it yourself to see what you need. If you do let us know what you find out.

Well we do know that it isn't an 11/16" input shaft that is just way too small for that tranny. I would agree with you Hawk that it is the 15/16" but, according to that article the shafts are interchangeable and if the PO installed a V6 in the jeep you don't know what else was done. I would measure it to be certain.

Ok well this is rather embarrassing.. The guy at the trans shop measured the disc for me, and I didn't bother to double check his measurements. It is in fact 15/16.

Thanks for helping me figure it out guys.. No wonder I couldn't find a disc. LOL.
