My brake pedal has a "catch" in it about half way through the stroke. Anybody experienced something similar? Without taking stuff apart I can't tell if it is the pedal pivot or the master cylinder catching. The brakes are all new at each corner. I thought it might be in a wheel cylinder but after replacing all 4 it is still there. The pedal hit the V6 if pushed toward the motor but this is different, I think! It is hard by yourself to push the brake and watch it below at the same time. :)

Possible that brakes need to be adjusted? Maybe one's catching too late?

If it feels like it is in the pedal itself and not at one of the corners, then I've had this same problem happen to me. On mine, it was linkage. I was able to fix it at the hardware store. If you disconnect the master cylinder from the linkage, you'll be able to move the pedal through its full range of motion by hand. You can just lay underneath there and observe it back and forth 'til you find out what's causing it.

Then I went with hanging pedals and have never looked back.
