Steering Box

    Just to double check, I found a manual steering box from a 72 with a 6cy and it looks identical to my 74. Would I be correct on this. Freebee part if it will work. :)

    It should bolt right up. Don't take your steering apart until you got all the parts you need and they are all correct.

    It's from the top down including the u-joint up top, the shaft, bell coupler(?), box and pitman arm. Clamped it down and from the top to pitman arm solid and tight with no play. I'm currently riding(holding on) with 5"-6" of play at the wheel.

    EDIT: it's not new - off a project jeep.
