windshield

    I am looking to buy a windhsiled for my cj5 73. I found one the web that I think may fit. The description reads will Fit 1968-1975 Jeep CJ's or Scramblers

    Just a note, the aftermarket windshields are not that good. I bought one and wished I spent some more time to find a used one. They are light ga. metal and are not exact on bolt holes. JMHO.

    is that the same for all companies that make steel replacement windshield frames?

    i'll need a new one on mine as well, and will likely try to buy new rather than scrounge for a used one in decent shape, if possible

    anyone have find a good new frame?

    Should fit '55-'75. If it reads '68 on it's reasonable to assume it has bottom mounted wipers I'd guess.

    I don't know - purchased this summer from I think a omix-ada supplier for around $150.00. It works but won't take a lot of abuse. Had to drill out holes to match hinge bolt holes, drill for visors, and bend out louvers and edges from shipping.

    I have an early small glass (not broken) frame that used to have top wipers and is now modified for low mount wipers if anyone is interested. From a CA Jeep so its in good shape.
