231 Turbo Update / Resurrection

As some of the "oldtimers" here know, I have been working toward a Buick Turbo hybrid in my '70 Jeep. For the new members -- my plans are to bolt up a 1st gen carb'd turbo engine in front of the T-90. (see future write-up on a SM-465 upgrade for obvious reasons )

The engine has officially been at the "builder's shop" (part-time builder) for 2 years this month (yeah, he's distracted alot). Easy goin guy and very knowledgeable with Pont, Buick, and Olds motors. You just have to be patient for that "good price". (sheesh, im patient) He doesnt return phone calls so I have to hunt the guy down from time to time by driving 45 minutes to his house.

So, after a handful of messages left, I went out there Saturday morning and found him at his desk chit chattin with somebody (like usual). (I think his pole barn is his escape from the house on weekends and not much gets done)

Anyhooooo.... My stuff is still there (YAY! wasn't ebay'd). Instead of asking "when is it going to be done" I asked "can I bring you final payment the first week of January and take it home?" We set a date of January 13th. Lets see what happens in January.
