Finnaly fixed my windshield wipers

    I have had no wipers since I bought the jeep 3 years ago. The splines on the drivers side had somehow worn down and I could not get a replacement arm to stay on the 'nub', 'spindle', or 'thingy' whichever technical term you prefer, without slipping. Finding a replacement spindle has not been fruitful.

    Today I went to Ace hardware and bought some set screws, a tap, and drill bit. I drilled the wiper arm for a set screw and all of the sudden I've got wipers!

    I know this is not a NASA level fix, or nearly as exciting as swapping in a 4-speed, but I like my Jeep as a daily driver, and now I don't have to leave it home when it rains.
