I've been out to my local salvage yard looking to pick up some original rims for my 72 CJ5. But it seems like they are all mixed up on different year cj"s......Some early 70's have 5.5 rims and some seem to have 6.0 rims. So I'm not sure which would be correct for a 72. Right now I have 4
6.0 rims and 2 5.5's, and will probably pick up 2 more 5.5's. :driving:

AFAIK the 15" x 7" only came with the packages ie Renegade. Also make sure you are measuring the distance between the inside where the bead seats, not the outside.

I had thought that CJs of this vintage had 5.5" width, but Jim knows better. The 6-lug Wagoneer/Cherokee/J-10 wheels are 6" wide, again to the best of my knowledge (since I don't have a demounted wheel to measure).
