225 HEI Help

    There is two different vacumn advance modules. One with the tube straight out and one with tube 90 degrees up.Out of the module.More clearance that way..

    OK guys, I really started something when I said the later 225's are 231's. Forgive me, they aren't exactly the same. I actually do have a 231 odd fire in my '67 CJ5. Someone stuck it in there before I got it.

    I was just trying to help by giving some additional sources for HEI parts.

    Well, no they aren't the same. They are different. The last 225s were 225s like I said. They aren't 231s. Those are different but there is stuff that interchanges as you noted.

    But since we're talking about HEI's I thought that was understood/implied since an Odd-fire 231 is the only source of an HEI unless you convert an even-fire HEI to Odd-fire.
