OK, I got ahold of Mona yesterday and told her what I needed, then emailed her the same photos I posted above. Here's her reply, sounds like I've found my source..........

    Hi Ron,

I can sure make the seat covers for you. I would like to have one set of them to check dimentions, etc. I have black vinyl in stock. I would do the seat covers for $85 for the set of 4 pieces. It looks like you need to have just the covers, and perhaps some rubberized hair pad & deck padding to go under the covers. The sewn in cushions will not work with the springs you have. I can supply you with the hairpad & deck pad.....figure about $23 per piece. You will have 4 pieces with the 2 bottom seats & 2 seat backs. Does that all make sense? You also will likely need new hardware....figure about $8.00 if you want me to add them.

Please let me know how I can be of further assistance to you.

    Best regards,

    Ron,

She mentioned $85 for the set of 4 pieces; are you covering 4 seats?

I'm a bit confused as the the price structure.

That's for the seat bottom and seat back, for each seat, so that's a total of four covers. The bottoms and the backs require separate covers for each.

Then there needs to be some padding between the springs and the covers on each seat bottom and seat back, that's the "rubberized hair pad & deck padding" she's talking about.

Her prices are a helluva lot less than Beachwood Canvas's kits.

And that Varner feller seems to have vanished. His email address is no good anymore, can't find him on Ebay, can't find him on Google, can't find his upholstery shop, can't find him in the phone directory.
