Doesn't look like a HUGE problem, but it definately doesn't look the way it should. With that being the front it is probably effecting (or affecting, whichever it is) your steering as well and is something your gonna want to fix. It is probably because your springs are bent, so if you get new springs, whether stock or lift, it should correct the problem.

Do you have longer than stock shackles? How about your castor? That pinion angle looks a little high to me but there a number of things that can cause this.

Very good point. Longer shackles could be causing it, and if you buy lift it won't fix it. I was mainly trying to picture the springs they way you described them and figured they must be bent, but check your shackles before you buy springs to try to correct it.

I see some other maintenance items that might need looking into as well.
When I see that much red rust residue around a u-joint, it usually means that it is dry from lack of grease and is going/has gone bad. You can also see in the pic where the end cap has been rotating in the yoke.
and......the pinion seal has been seeping.
I would change the yoke over to the u-bolt type for the u-joint; I would replace the seal and change that u-joint before it becomes a bigger problem.
I could be wrong............but I think you should at the very least check the u-joint.

i got stock shakles and you're right i need to do seals and gaskets all over the place i got a major leak from the dana 300 and i wanna do the axle gaskets. so i should grease the u joints? what kinda axle oil should i use and what do i put in the 300.I'm gunna order all kinds of gaskets from quadratech and just start replacing stuff. the tires are brand new and they made a huge difference in the ride over 55 mph. thanks so much for the advice
