I'm probably imagining this but my oddfire seems to run better with the factory exhaust setup as opposed to the dual exhaust it had before. Anyone have a similar experience?

No, to the best of my knowledge, the V6 CJ5 never came with a dual exhaust from the factory. The FSM doesn't show that kind of setup. Neither are there any parts listed for it in the factory parts catalogue.

Mentioned the improvement in performance to the owner of the muffler shop this morning and he said that an increase in low rpm torque and idle is reasonable but high rpm performance may drop. Nonetheless, I'm happy with the improvement, real or imagined.
