Just wondering if I could get some help with the numbers off my Tranny/Transfer case...I know the trans is a T-18, just wondering about the numbers..

Side ot the trans says...T18-1B, WG-DIV
Tag number...999636, under that is 13-01-023

Numbers on the transfer case tag is...300596-98
    under that is ...5351088

I bought these together with a 258 with a Clifford Alum. intake..Was all supposed to be from a 1975 CJ5

Thanks in advance for your help..

The T-18 will be a close-ratio model. The 999636 is the Jeep PN and the 13-01-023 is the Borg-Warner number. T18-1B doesn't tell you much ... seems that they all have that. WG stands for Warner Gear.

On the transfer case, 5351088 is the Jeep number, and the other is Dana.

For more, you'll need someone with the Jeep parts books.

The transfer case, if original to that tranny, would be a model 20 transfer case.
If the tcase rear output is in line with the centerline of the transmission, and the adapter between the tranny and the tcase kind of resembles the state of Texas... then it's a model 20.
