I recentlly acquired a 1973 cj-5 spring over lift, 2-3 inch body lift, 35 inch tires with 80% tread, Custom front and rear bumpers with winch mounts welded in, A little rust and a very straight body. It has the stock 304 that looks like it has been rebuilt within the past 2-3 years along with the stock trans. Dana 44 rear rebuilt 1 year ago and a dana 30 that I just had rebuilt. Ballpark me gentlemen. I just want to know how much this new addition to the family is worth. OD reads 88,000 and change but that means nothing as you know.:? :?

Whatever value it is to you while you own it, and whatever someone will pay you for it when you sell it.

Probably not as much as you think. Go to ebay and check the prices there. Jeeps range from 1500 to 15000. Of course I think the guy asking 15000 is smoking crack, but that's another story. You will probably never get more than you have in it, unless it was a family discount or something.

    Good luck

Just a comment - generally modifications like body lift and spring over are a negative on the resale value. The most valuable Jeeps now are fully-loaded (PS, PB, V8), factory condition and low miles.

I've seen customs selling for more than $10,000, but they seem to be show cars that someone has put many times that amount into.

You might find a buyer that would appreciate the mods, but custom cars are like custom houses - harder to sell and priced lower.

Why not. no pics, $2000-$3500. A true trail rig CJ can bring $8000.00+. Sounds like a nice Jeep, but doesn't sound like it falls into the valuable trail jeep or restored jeep categories.
