Urethane Bushings?

hey gang... do any of you have urethane leaf spring bushings installed on a flattie? I've been looking and the earliest i can find is for a CJ-5. If any of you can point me in the right direction that would be mucho appreciated

 

you can use them if you convert your shackles from the stock U shaped to CJ5 type
both in the spring and in the frame at the shackle end
the rear pivot bolt with grease zerk/bronze bushing can stay
I never bothered to change mine

 

yeah ive already got H shackles on my Rig... did you mean that i can use bushings for a CJ-5? arent they wider than on a flattie?

 

yes
75 and prior bushings will work
75 and prior springs are all the same width
unles you've changed your hangers or gone to wider springs, they will work.
what are you using now with your H shackles ?

 

i have what appears to be the original bushings in there... and they are mighty crusty... Front end wanders like crazy so i want to start with new bushings when i get my lift installed...

great, thanks! i have those exact same shackles... i think the part #'s for the bushings have changed (looks like superlift bought blackdiamond), but the interchangeability should be the same.
