Steering wheel help!

    I just cut the three spokes leaving about an inch of spoke. Ground the back side of each spoke flat angling up towards the center then used a three jaw puller. Popped right off.:v6:

    The bearing seperator worked great for me, as long as you don't care about damaging the back side of the steering wheel.

    Why not saw into the wheel from opposing sides and remove the old wheel in halvs ?

    I feel your pain. I cut the three spokes off and then used a cutting wheel to get the whole thing down to the very center piece. Then I used a dremmel with a cutting disc on it and very carefully cut the center ring off. I did nick a thread on the column, so if you do this, be very careful.
