t-fer case/tranny compatability

    I have a 1967 CJ5 with the V6 225. I am thinking of replacing my T86 tranny with a T14. Would a T14 be compatable with the Dana 18 transfer case? Input shaft, splines, etc. would match up? Anything else I should be aware of?

    You'll need the trans output gear for the T14......

    I personally dislike the T14. I managed to break two of them, neither under heavy conditions. They also run a ten spline output shaft. The OD for these is a bit rarer than the "standard" six. just my .02
