Well in two Dana 25's I have the whole family represented.
If you ever wondered what the different joints looked like side by side......[IMG]
One of the 25's had locking hubs. The ends of the shafts were threaded with a nut,is this right?
Seems like they might have used hubs from another application? I was going to use them as spares but I wonder now..
Anyway its always something isn't it?

The threaded one is an original - we would have to cut them off to put selectable hubs on (hours with a hacksaw as a kid). I have seen several that way that just had drive flanges on them (splined for 4X4 smooth for 2X4).

Hmm I remember finding a spicer and a Rzeppa when I took apart my 25, IIRC I still have the shafts somewhere. Maybe it is time to clean off to workbench and see if they are there.

    Sure Sparky no problem.
The threaded shafts were the ones with the locking hubs?
Well now I am in the market for a short spicer shaft.
