After getting "Bargain Jeep" home only to find that it needed a gas tank, fuel pump, carb rebuild, new brake shoes, wheel cylinders, brake lines, tires I think that's all for now. I am going for a "test" drive the weekend let's hope all goes well.

Don't worry, your fun isn't over yet. You will discover something else needs to be done on your test drive. Making that repair will yield at least two more things that need attention, and while your working on that stuff, you'll rationalize that it would save a lot of labor to go ahead and do some preventative maintenance. And so on. They turn money pit on you pretty quick.

Hopefully it won't have Death Wobble  . Next thing you know it'll turn into "Well, might as well as..." Very dangerous words known to cause empty bank accounts and the occasional divorce.

I believe he stock gears are either 3.73 or the lower 4.77.

It will turn into a oney it though. Luckily all my stuff has come about before I got to the point I actually needed it... disk brakes helped stop the speeds of the 3.73's i didn't know were back there, power steering right before I decided to step up to 35's, OBA when.. well I haven't quite needed that just yet.
