bogs when cold

    any of you guys experience your 304 bogging down when you release the clutch at a slow acceleration when the engine is cold? you pretty much have get your rpm pretty high to prevent it from stalling. does it when its warmed up too but not so much. i tried adjusting the choke, but didnt help. i took the carb off and cleaned very well, still the same. plugs,wires, coil, cap and rotors are new. i tried spraying around carb base and intake, no leaks found.:cry:

    IIRC this is a sign of the accelerator pump going bad, probably time for a carb rebuild.

    i just bought this reman carb about 6 month ago from kragens....thats probably why (lol R) but i think your right, ill look at my accelerator pump. thanks for the info
